Happy Holiday: Tangkak

Haiz...not much photo for this trip. Just let it be a simple introduction as well. Where we went to in this Raya period? We went to Tangkak, for Yong's eldest auntie 60's Birthday dinner. We reach Tangkak around 11am. After that, we took a nap at his auntie's house. Noon time, my stomach was calling me to out for lunch. Yong's cousin, Xiao Qiang leads us to have some nice food. First round was the Tom Yum Kuey  Zap. It's damn spicy and of course I didn't order it but Yong did. He say it is nice, and I just focus on eating and forgot to take a photo.

Next, we went to visit the Thai Temple. Ooppss, no photo again, it's all in my lomo cam already. He brought us to Muar town, and everyone must not miss the Otak-otak in Muar, right?

Step Up Revolution

 

Not an attracting movie poster, looked like some of the Bollywood  Movie Poster, haha... Well, still attracted by trailer, and of course we've watched most of the previous episode of Step Up. What I wanna say is, the story 3/5, the dancing 5/5, the creativity 5/5, so it's up to how do you judge it. For those Hip & Hop or Rock & Roll music lovers, please do not miss this great show! It's really gives you surprise!

The Dark Knight Rises

 

Big big big hope for Batman again, I decided to watch it in cinema just because of Christian Bale and Tom Hardy, but the movie was out of my expectation. Everyone said it might be a little boring due to the movie time is 160 minutes, but I've found it not really that boring. And also, I never thought to see Liam Neeson appeared in this movie too!! Give a big LIKE for The Dark Knight Rises and Christopher Nolan. Highly recommended!!!

Happy Holiday: Rainbow Waterfall vol.2

Alright, it's time to leave the heaven. Spend another same time for the jungle tracking and truck ride again. It was 3pm when we backed to Kuantan. Everyone was super super hungry now. We went to Muar-E Coffee Shop, which is serving the most famous coffee in Kuantan

Mee Mamak, one of the highly recommended food by Ah Yong.

 

 Nasi Goreng Kampung with Egg, highly recommended too.

Tepung Goreng, quite a special food. You will never eat this before in other place, highly recommended.

Happy Holiday: Rainbow Waterfall vol.1

We're ready to see the nearest rainbow in our sight, wooo~ Departed from KL at 10pm. We stayed at Kuantan for a night first. Resting, sleeping, chatting, just do what ever you like. I've brought Pin Pin to show them how cute was he, but he was quite afraid and body-shaking, poor little guy... Nobody will hurt you, don't so worry la, k?

Pin Pin was the famous star of the night.

Just slept for 2 hours only, then we woke up at 5am, gosh~ I was late already. Finally departed at 5.10am. 3 cars was heading to Sg. Lembing right now. Road is full of mist and lack of street lamp. Everyone go there must be careful.

Reached Sg. Lembing town.

 

 We're going to ride this truck later.

 Had our breakfast in this foodcourt, this stall are selling the most famous tofu in Sg. Lembing.

After breakfast, we're going to ride the truck to go into the Rainbow Waterfall.

YEAH~~ we're able to see the sun rise on the half way, ready your camera now, quick!!

Happy Birthday to July Girls

Arghhh~~~ Monday blue........ We had a birthday celebration for 2 of our gang members, July Girls huh? Everyone was heading to KLCC after working, then we had our dinner at Chili's Grill Restaurant & Bar. Get a 8 person table and starting to browse the food menu.

Birthday Cake Flavour '12: Baked Chocolate Pudding

Since last time Bersih 3.0, I have never meet Lady O' anymore. We hang out for celebrating our belated birthday, both of us are June girls. It's Saturday, we had our lunch at Garden Lifestyle Restaurant in The Curve about 3pm. This place looked quite silence huh..maybe it's just because the lunch time over already.

We get this as our drinks, Chamomile Tea Pot for 2 pax. Can refill hot water.

Birthday Cake Flavour '12: Jack Daniel's Jennessey Whisky Chocolate

Ahaha....don't be confused by the stupid post title: Jack Daniel's Jennessey Whisky Chocolate, not really has the birthday cake with this flavour. Ah Yong bought the Whisky Chocolate for me while he has been traveling to Pulau Tioman, he knows I love alchohol =)

Birthday Cake Flavour '12: Pandan Layer Cake

Rice Dumpling Festival was held on last Saturday.Usually mum will cook more dishes and invite closest relative came over to join the dinner. Besides that, they also celebrate my birthday earlier than the actual day. It's a Pandan Layer Cake, nice to smell, won't too sweet. I love layer cake actually more than cream cake or chocolate cake.

I was having a wonderful celebration with my dearest gang. We went Sakae Sushi for dinner (because we have no idea where to go). As usual, non-stop chit-chat, shooting, laughing etc.  and this is how we are. We always prefer to order many side dishes and sharing together, it really feels great.

 

They are crazy about salmon.

Another Unforgetful Day, Only Once

Today, I receive a ring from him, attached with 12 red roses. It's a surprising proposal which is held on beach. I can't believe that he choose my dream place although I never tell him "I hope you may propose to me at beach.". There is no any our friends and families. He does not kneel, he has his own way and thinking.

I thought the roses are just for my incoming birthday gift as what he said. How stupid I am, LOL... I leave it in the car, then we are having a fast lunch at the beach area. What a shiny and hot day! He would like to ask for a walk around the beach, I love beach. We are holding tight each other and walking slowly on the sand. Suddenly,

he says "The roses are not only for your birthday, u know why?"

"Why?" I am guessing, what's he gonna do.

"How about this?" then he wear a silver diamond ring on my finger.

I can understand although you are ready he may propose to you, but when it happen in fact, it's really shocking, surprising and touching.

"I am unable to marry you right now, but I would like to give you a promise because we have been together for 6 years, which is I want you to be my wife forever. Let's plan for engaged in this year."

I knew him, he is a dull guy, not much sweet talk, but I can feel his earnest on propose to me, and how much he loves me.

"Hope you will not disgusted with my poorest." he jokes to me while tears are rolling in my eyes.

But I feel more and more touching after he jokes to me. I am really very very very happy today.

"Will you marry me?" There is nothing for me to consider anymore.

"Yes. I want you to be my husband too."

Marvel's The Avengers

We have been waiting for soooo long, what's that? Oh Yeah~ The Avengers!!! Reedem movie ticket by voucher, just RM8.90 per pax only, keke... It's an awesome, funny and exciting Marvel's Hero Movie. We like it so much!! Don't miss it if you haven't watch yet!

The Bersih 3.0 rally was a sit-down protest (Duduk Bantah in Malay). In addition to the eight previous demands:

1. Clean up of the electoral roll
2. Reform of postal ballot
3. Use of indelible ink
4. Minimum 21 days of campaign period
5. Free and fair access to mass media for all parties
6. Strengthening of public institutions
7. No corruption
8. No dirty politics

Bersih 3.0 was endorsed by 84 NGOs. In particular, it was joined by Himpunan Hijau (Green Assembly), a civil movement protesting the Lynas rare earth project in Malaysia. In addition to the main rally at Kuala Lumpur, smaller rallies were held in 10 other cities in Malaysia, as well as in 34 other countries.

Himpunan Hijau is solidly behind the Bersih 3.0 movement and aspirations. Our stand remain consistent that in order to have a Green environment, we need a Clean government. Our Himpunan Hijau resolutions also remain unchanged as follows :

1. Immediate termination and cancellation of the Lynas Advanced Materials Plant
2. Termination or review of all projects that pose environmental and health risks in Malaysia
3. Ensure that all development project comply with the principles of the Earth Charter

Happy Holiday: Morib Gold Coast ● Day 1

Morning, we went to KLCC for visiting Investment & Property Fair. Unfortunately, there was not much choices and not much thing to view. Then our lunch plus breakfast 2-in-one, again, we went to KLCC foodcourt, and had Hot Plate Yee Mee same as what we always eat here few years ago.It was a wonderful memory.

This was a birthday trip for Yong. I hope he can have a short break and get out from stress for a day at least. Following Papago, we're going to drive to Morib Beach on this day. OMFG.....the way it brought us was not easy to access, turning here and turning there...confusing. While we reach Tanjung Sepat, our GPS was out of battery, my god. But still okay as we still can find the right way by refering signboard.

April Birthday Boy

Thought wanna give him a big celebration, but he said he just want to go to his favorite restaurant had a delicious dinner is already happy enough. So, here we came again, Sushi Tei The Garden.

Steamed Egg with Mushroom. Still same delicious like lastime.

 

We just ordered one main course, and others all were side dish. Udon still same delicious like lastime.

This is Salmon Skin Maki. Yong's super favorite. He wished to order one more but there's no more already. However, at least we had one plate of it.

Congratulations to me! After 2 weeks promote my page hardly, there're some feedbacks from publicants and also finally there's a first buyer. Firstly, I feel very thankful for those who trust me, I will keep going and bring out more surprise to everyone. Starting to dream as a tauke? LOL~ No matter how, it's a good start at least, right? Hope my store may stand for a time, and become more attractive.

Happy Holiday: Penang ● Day 3

Goodbye Penang. We skipped breakfast and directly drove to Nibong Tebal for lunch, Zhang Ji Restaurant. Their popular dish is Crab Porridge, how do you think it will be looked like? Let's see...

 

It's more like Crab Soup Rice, but it's their specialty. Of course the taste is nice too, MUST try it when you back from Penang.

Happy Holiday: Penang ● Day 2 vol.2

Here we come, Penang Hill. RM8 per pax with MyKad to take the cable car. WOW~ how's the cable car looks like? Eeee~~~ becomes modern already huh? By the way, I still think the old one was much more classic and special.

 

Nothing much to visit here actually. Just a landscape view of Penang, but the sky not really nice also that day. Didn't even think to shoot a photo.

Happy Holiday: Penang ● Day 2 vol.1

Alright, get ready for the second day in Penang. We went for our breakfast at Air Itam area which is Wah Meng Coffee Shop. We spent a time to search for it, conclusion is... that's impossible to see its signboard from outside, because the signboard is very small and covered by hawker stalls in front of shop. So, another crowded kopitiam. What I've looked from website was introducing the Roti Canai, Kuey Chap and Curry Mee.

Aiksss~~ just took 1 photo, which is Duck Kuey Chap. Erm...for me I think it's quite okay, but Yong said he did not like the smell of it. Duck food is quite subjective is it?

Happy Holiday: Penang ● Day 1

Okay, here we go for Penang trip. Friday morning depart around 9am, and there's a small conflict happened.  Yong wanna wear short pant and slipper for this trip only, i agree with him too. Just imagine yuo're going to having ur meal in hawker stall or food court everyday, and visit outdoor everyday, pant plus slipper will not unmatch right? But mum said to me "why he wear slipper only?" OMFG...what's wrong with that, swt....end up, because we don't want she don't like with it, Yong go back home from car again, CHANGE to jeans, CHANGE another shoes, happy?

After had our breakfast, we moved forward to Bukit Tambun directly by North Highway, then we had our lunch at Prawn Village Seafood Restaurant. Let's see what we've ate.

 

Yau Char Guay with  Signature Taufu, served with mayonese and chili sauce. Cruchy delicious, there's meat inside the Yau Char Guay.



 Steamed XL size Squilid. OMG~!!! THIS IS DAMN DAMN DAMN DELICIOUS!!! 

Steamed Dragon Fish Slice. A little over steam, but still nice to eat.
