Happy Holiday: Tangkak

Haiz...not much photo for this trip. Just let it be a simple introduction as well. Where we went to in this Raya period? We went to Tangkak, for Yong's eldest auntie 60's Birthday dinner. We reach Tangkak around 11am. After that, we took a nap at his auntie's house. Noon time, my stomach was calling me to out for lunch. Yong's cousin, Xiao Qiang leads us to have some nice food. First round was the Tom Yum Kuey  Zap. It's damn spicy and of course I didn't order it but Yong did. He say it is nice, and I just focus on eating and forgot to take a photo.

Next, we went to visit the Thai Temple. Ooppss, no photo again, it's all in my lomo cam already. He brought us to Muar town, and everyone must not miss the Otak-otak in Muar, right?

After Otak-otak, we passed by a lot of hawker stall, suddenly Yong stopped, ooohh...he wanna drink a cup of Wong Lou Gat, body heat huh? Then I have a cup of Kekwa. The Wong Lou Gat is pour by powder, usually it will be expensive if come with powder. But the price here is worth and cheap.

Back to "home", there were a lot a lot of their relatives, LOL~ I guess there must be someone said that I don't smile or cool face again. Already used to it, although I'm smiling already. Okay, let's join for the birthday dinner.

Honestly, on this day, I saw something so called "someone from jungle that never eat great food before". At the birthday dinner, we sit together with Yong's uncle and aunt, both of them are superb! When the Roasted Duck was served on our table (it's in front of me), his aunt turn over the dish in front to her while we were taking the food. She wanted to grab the drumstick for her daughter LOL~~ I was feeling quite "swt" when saw this happened. According to what Yong said, they are some kind of people like "I came so far away to your dinner, of course I must get the food as best as I can". How about his uncle? Not big deal la, just choose the food on the main plate by his chopstick only ma. Gosh...

Next day, Yong's cousin brought us to eat Bak Kut Teh, quite crowded. What so special? For me, I think the Bak Kut Teh is okay, but the most famous dish not their Bak Kut Teh, it's their Stew Chicken Feet. Yuckkk~~~ I don't eat chicken feet at all...but after try it by their forcing, it's so delicous!!! Must eat if you have a chance to enter this Bak Kut Teh Restaurant.

After Bak Kut Teh, our lunch not end yet. Go Tangkak, MUST NOT miss the local Beef Noodle. MUST NOT!!!!  Yong don't eat beef, too bad. Nevermine, I helped him to eat all of it, muahaha~ The restaurant is full of beef smell, a little disgusting. My stomach was quite full or Bak Kut Teh already. So I just ordered the Beef Noodle without noodle.
