Happy Holiday: Penang ● Day 2 vol.2

Here we come, Penang Hill. RM8 per pax with MyKad to take the cable car. WOW~ how's the cable car looks like? Eeee~~~ becomes modern already huh? By the way, I still think the old one was much more classic and special.

 

Nothing much to visit here actually. Just a landscape view of Penang, but the sky not really nice also that day. Didn't even think to shoot a photo.

  

 Just simply looked around, walked around, nothing too special. We cames just because of long time never been here.

According to my plan, after Penang Hill, we're looking for Kek Seng Coffee Shop which is located at Georgetown area. YES, found it. What's so popular here is their Ice-kacang. And also there're few hawker stall there such like Popiah, Char Kuey Teow etc.

Never seen an Ice-kacang like this. Served with syrup, red beans, corns, 2 scoop of ice-cream and agar-agar. Guess what the ice-cream flavour? The white one is DURIAN ice-cream! But this Ice-kacang is kinda sweety, for those never came before may have a try.

But this Popiah, is quite quite quite delicious!

Then we went to Botanical Garden. Arghh~~ it's Saturday, when we passed by Gurney area was quite jam. Spend around half hour to reach there, swt~~~"

 

Some of the visitors were having picnic there, and their food was stolen by monkeys, LOL~

Back to room, took bath and rest a while, then we're out again by 7pm, only my brother, Yong and I. We're going to meet a friend. He brought us to a Western Restaurant, and then he introduced the Mushroom Soup there to us, is really DAMN TASTY!!! Until I've forgot to take a photo of it! The meal set there is quite worth to eat, RM25 w/o tax including choices of soup, main course which is pasta or steak,  choices of drink and unlimited ice-cream.

After dinner, we went to a place called Straits Quay, none of us came before except him. This place still new and free parking. I felt that I was standing on a land that not in Malaysia, it's pretty nice place.

 

You may understand what am I talking about now.

At the back is a port for foreign yacht

 

 There have a lot of popular cafe and bistro such like Coffee Bean, Starbucks, Overtime, Charlie Brown and much more. Go and explore by yourself on your next Penang trip!

My plan was searching Dim Sum for the next morning, but we're too tired this day, so plan cancelled. Thanks for Yong's friend lead us a wonderful Penang night. We're going back to KL by tomorrow.
